Work Parties

 Work Party Dates 2025


All Work Parties will be from 10:00hrs to 12:00hrs and comprise mowing and strimming duties of the pathways

and communal areas plus any one-off jobs determined by the committee.


N.B. You will need to complete a minimum of 3 Work Parties between March and November

to comply with your tenancy agreement otherwise you may incur a work party penalty at your next renewal.


 WORK PARTY DATES 2025

Please try to attend one work party in each three month period (i.e.):
March/April/May
June/July/August
September/October/November


March - Saturday, 22nd

April - Sunday, 27th

May - Saturday, 24th

June - Sunday, 22nd

July - Saturday, 26th

August  - Sunday, 24th

September  - Saturday, 27th

October  - Sunday, 26th

November - Saturday, 22nd


December 2025 to February 2026 -  no work parties



 Work Party Rules / Guidance

•    All Communal Machinery is used at the Members own risk.
•    It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the use of appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
     masks, visors, gloves and sturdy shoes should be worn at all times when using Company machinery.
•    All Members are responsible for their own safety and should adopt good, safe working practice on site and to use
any machinery by exercising a “Duty of Care” for their personal health and safety and that of other Members.
•    Members should abide by the machinery/equipment instructions (copies in sheds on site).
•    No person under the age of 18 is allowed to use the machinery/powered tools, even under adult supervision.
•    All machinery is maintained by a volunteer workforce and is supplied in a safe condition.
•    At no time should any safety guards or features be removed from any of the equipment.
•   Members should report any concerns immediately to the Committee (via email),
      return the equipment to the shed and attach a “do not use” tag (provided on site).
•    The use of chainsaws is prohibited at all times (this is a condition of insurance)
•    No bonfires are permitted
•    No hosepipes allowed
